Responsibilities

  • Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives
  • Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls and ensure compliance
  • Manage the daily activities of the Senior Accountant
    • Responsible for accurate general ledger recording following US GAAP
    • Identify issues and trends; suggest and follow up with solutions
    • Responsible for month-end closing process, including journal entries
    • Prepare account reconciliations to support monthly close process
  • Provide support to Company Management

Required Qualifications

Customer Service Manager

Description

The Customer Service Manager will lead the Customer Service Department and be the direct point-of-contact with our customers as well as the liaison between our Business Development, Sales, Applications, and Service teams. The candidate will be responsible for building the customer service infrastructure necessary to support our customers during sales and service issues. This requires creating sales orders from approved quotes, scheduling installation, and accurately capturing and triaging reported service questions or problems in a rapid timeframe. This position also requires engagement and interaction with external sales channel partners, such as Agilent. Responsibilities

  1. Customer Support
    • Document new customer information in the billing system.
    • Process all sales orders.

Engineering Technician

The Engineering Technician will be responsible for building, reworking, and the repair of various electrical systems in support of our engineering team. He/She will be responsible for the installation, customer familiarization and support initially for our Beta SLIM (Structures for Lossless Ion Mobility) unit and then Commercial units. The FSE will support our Commercial Team during all Beta and Commercial product deployments, installations, and provide complete customer support. Design and create presentations, use cases, technical documentation, internal and external training documentation, procedures, and customer facing manuals, quick start guides, troubleshooting, etc.

Responsibilities

  1. Scientific Knowledge and Application of Separation Technology for Analysis of Biologic Samples with regards to IM-MS
    • Experienced liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC/MS) method developer with a broad knowledge of applications related to the analysis of biologically relevant molecules
    • Learn to operate SLIM instrumentation on multiple mass spectrometry platforms to generate meaningful and valuable data sets for correlation to current LC/MS applications
    • Perform post-installation testing and meet performance specifications

Required Qualifications

The Software Product Manager is responsible for managing the SW products within the Product Lifecycle, including but not limited to customer and product requirements, writing the validation plan, defining the product vision and strategy, developing marketing tools, managing the product launch, and soliciting customer feedback for future product improvements.

The SW Product Manager will work closely with many organizational functions, including Business Development, Product Development and Commercial teams. The candidate will be responsible for developing the product roadmap, possess the technical and applications depth of knowledge to be able to define clear software product requirements, provide competitive benchmarking analysis, develop marketing/sales tools and collateral, provide training to the sales force, and interact with customers to assess product performance. Responsibilities

  • Own all software product requirements for instrument control and data processing.
  • Define the specifications required to process Ion Mobility-Mass Spec data with 3rd party data processing solutions already adopted by industrial and academic customers.
  • Routinely collect Voice of the Customer (VoC) for software products and use this to drive product enhancement.
  • Conduct product presentations demonstrating instrument control for data acquisition through data processing workflows.
  • Must be able to interact with customers throughout the product development process to ensure product design and performance meet customer expectations.
  • Create wireframe and mock-ups to aid in specifying requirements.
  • Lead the verification and validation of software workflows to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Seek out new data processing partners and identify new integration opportunities.
  • Support sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise
  • Develop sales tools and sales training material as it relates to software and workflow solutions.
  • Provide input for marketing collateral development

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry, chemistry, physics, or engineering. An advanced degree in these or related disciplines is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience in a technical, sales or marketing role.
  • 6+ years’ experience with data processing workflow or instrument control software development, testing, or support in the field of Chromatography or Mass spectrometry, or Ion Mobility.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze VoC Data and translate it into User Requirements.
  • Experience working with outside development partners.
  • Experience processing data from Protein, Lipids, or Metabolomic analysis performed with Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, or Ion Mobility instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to speak and write clearly and accurately, particularly as it relates to technical concepts.

The Software Quality Assurance Manager will be a member within the Software Development Team that reports into the Product Development organization which is responsible for taking Mobilion’s game-changing technology platform from prototype to product and ultimately commercialization. As part of the Product Development group you will also work with members from the Research and Development, Product Management, Field Services and Support groups. We are looking for a seasoned Software Quality Assurance Manager with broad knowledge of software development testing methodologies, test development, results tracking and reporting and team leadership who is comfortable working in a small fast paced dynamic company setting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure software meets all requirements of adherence to usability, quality, security and supportability.
  • Ensure that the software test development, testing and test reporting activity is accurately tracked and managed.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards and practices. Follow product development process consistent with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Work with internal and external software quality team members to ensure that the software meets quality metrics established by the company
  • Work with the Software Development Manager and Director of Product Development to design and implement the software development lifecycle, quality assurance strategy and procedures at MOBILion.
  • Review the existing software QA and QC procedures and develop additional methods and protocols as needed considering the existing and future product roadmap(s) and project schedule(s).
  • Review test protocols created from software functional specifications.
  • Ensure the software project team is following established software development life cycle milestones and provide assistance and guidance on testing strategies when needed.
  • Working with Product Management and the Software Manager participate in the review of software functional requirements specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, Scientists, Field Engineers and other business personnel.
  • Learn SLIM based technology and how to operate SLIM instruments.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 10 years of relevant work experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in software development, testing and support for a variety of software applications that interface with laboratory instrumentation. Mass spectrometry integration a plus.
  • 3+ years’ experience leading a QA or QC team.
  • Occasional travel as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with product management and the technical team when needed.
  • Experience with regulated requirements such as Title 21 CFR Part 11
  • Expertise in Agile and iterative methods, software static code analysis, unit testing, continuous integration, and black-box testing.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills; ability to decompose complex problems, prioritize issues, and implement sensible solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to speak and write clearly and accurately, particularly as it relates to technical concepts.
  • Passionate about quality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
