To showcase the ability of high-resolution separation on the MOBIE system combined with an unbiased, data-independent fragmentation workflow to minimize chimeric spectra and enable structural elucidation of previously undetected PFAS compounds.
The combination of high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and high-resolution ion mobility (HRIM) offers capabilities which complement traditional LC-MS workflows. The ability to detect and accurately identify novel previously unresolved PFAS, including the critical differentiation of isomers, is a useful advance for better characterizing these persistent compounds.
