John Couttie

John Couttie is currently the Director of Strategic Business Development at Peak Scientific. He has more than 30 years of international commercial experience developing and growing businesses. This includes opening offices in Sao Paulo and Mexico City as well as managing the Americas continent from the North America office in Boston. He previously worked for the Scottish Government in Boston where he was responsible for securing investments and collaborations in Life Sciences & Biotech into Scotland. He also held a similar position for two years with Australian Trade Council in New York. He enjoys the challenge of overcoming the day to day problems in business and, contributing to longer term strategic objectives. John is a natural people person and expert at international relations and has an extensive C-suite network which he uses to great effect. His solid approach is to always be supportive and achieve the team goal carried out at all time with fun and passion.
